 It was not a pretty win, but despite 3 defensive miscues the Mustangs came away from Perryville with a win and a 1-1 UCBAC upper-division record (2-1 overall) going into a week that includes undefeated division opponents Havre de Grace and Bel Air. The Mustangs jumped ahead in the third inning with two extra-base hits off the bats of Luzetsky (a double) and then Caroline Weimer (an RBI triple). Weimer was later driven in off the bat of Quinn Ursprung. Luzetsky would score again in the 5th, the winning run as it was. A Jenny Lynch 2-RBI triple in the 7th added two insurance runs for the Mustangs. Perryville crept back into the game however in the 5th and 6th when errors made with runners on base in both innings allowed Willis and Jones (who had reached on a triple to right) to both reach the plate. In the circle for the Mustangs Morghan Fulton allowed no earned runs on 7 hits to earn the victory.
