Long-time UCBAC power house Rising Sun was unable to muster its past power when visiting C. Milton Wright, losing by mercy-rule 11-0 in 6 innings. The Mustangs were bolstered by back-to-back doubles off the bats of Jenny Lynch and Quinn Ursprung in the 3rd inning, along with a 2-RBI double off the bat of Caroline Weimer in the 4th. Senior outfielder Lindsay Ibberson drove home the mercy-rule in the 6th inning with a bases-loaded 2-RBI single. In the circle Mustang hurler Kyralee Comeaux picked up her first win of the year allowing no runs to cross the plate despite four Tiger hits and four walks. C. Milton travels to Perryville on Friday to take on the perennial Cecil County contender Panthers in another UCBAC Chesapeake Division conference match-up.
